Our founder has been lashing since 2017, launched her own product line in 2020, and has grown Glam Lab PDX into Portland's beauty hub for lash education and beauty business education. What started as one artist's craft is now a home for independent beauty businesses under one roof.
We make it a point to be one of Portland's most diverse salons. Part of our mission is to build economic opportunity and streams of income for BIPOC women-led beauty businesses — and to fill the gaps in beauty education that hold talented artists back. When our artists win, our whole community wins.
We have a dedicated space for kids to hang out in the salon during services of 1.5 hours or shorter. We saw an opportunity: our service providers shouldn't have to turn clients away because of childcare, and our clients shouldn't have to skip their appointments because of it either.
